Prenetics, a Nasdaq-listed health sciences company, has partnered with David Beckham to launch IM8, a health and wellness brand offering two products: Daily Ultimate Essentials, an all-in-one powder with 92 nutrients, and Daily Ultimate Longevity, a capsule supporting cellular rejuvenation. Beckham, a strategic investor and co-founding partner, emphasises the brand's commitment to simplifying wellness with scientifically-backed supplements. IM8 is now available for purchase online, shipping to 31 countries. 
Hong Kong biotech company Immuno Cure announced promising results from a Phase 1 trial of its HIV vaccine, ICVAX. The trial showed strong safety and effectiveness in boosting immune responses among 45 participants. Most who received the optimal dose experienced a significant increase in T-cell activity, with only mild side effects. The company plans to begin a larger Phase 2 trial in mid-2025, expanding to hospitals in Hong Kong and Guangzhou, while sharing its findings with regulators and the scientific community.
At the recent FII Riyadh Summit, AI Financial Technology (AIFT) (formerly One Degree Group), the global cybersecurity and insurance technology announced agreements with Riyad Bank to integrate AI-driven underwriting solutions and Merak Capital to support its technology-focused growth initiatives. These partnerships aim to strengthen AIFT’s position in the Middle East while driving digital transformation in the insurance and financial sectors.
"Airwallex for Startups" is designed to aid Kiwi entrepreneurs in scaling their ventures more efficiently, offering a range of resources including practical guidance and networking opportunities. A highlight of the initiative is the opportunity for participating startups to win a Business Acceleration Grant of US$5,851 (NZD $10,000). This programme, already active in regions including Hong Kong, Australia, and Singapore, has attracted over 2,000 startups globally.
