Zayd serves as a Manager at Gobi Partners, focusing on early-stage and growth investments across the ASEAN region.

Before joining Gobi, he was an Investment Analyst at a New York-based family office focused on MedTech and Biopharma. His work involved the US$75 million SPAC IPO of Viscogliosi Brothers Acquisition Corp. and investments in pioneering MedTech companies across the U.S.

Zayd has also held venture investing internships with Mundi Ventures (London) and with The Hive (Palo Alto), and interned at GoCardless, a US$2 billion FinTech startup based in London.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance and Operations Management) from Georgetown University.
