Carlo Chen-Delantar to Spearhead Gobi’s Sustainability Goals as New ESG Head

Prior to this appointment, Carlo served and continues his position as the Head of Circular Economy for Gobi ASEAN. He is also a Founding Partner for the Gobi-Core Philippine Fund (Gobi-Core), a joint-venture partnership between Gobi Partners and Core Capital investing in promising Filipino startups.

Established in 2020, Clearbot provides AI-powered all-electric and self-driving robots which automate pollution recovery, surveillance and rescue, and goods delivery in urban waterways intelligently and without manpower. The startup will use the funds for product development and R&D to improve operational efficiency in different environmental conditions and expand further into Southeast Asia.

Aerodyne Takes Majority Stake in Brazil’s Leading Drone Inspection Player, Grupo DR1
The acquisition serves as a regional platform to launch Aerodyne’s new technology and solutions in precision agriculture, advanced air mobility, and remote and autonomous drone-based solutions.

Prenetics to Acquire ACT Genomics and Expands into Cancer Genomics
When the acquisition is completed, leveraging ACT’s R&D engines which specializes in next-generation sequencing and bioinformatics in both tissue and liquid biopsy, Prenetics will have the scientific rigor to offer tests to patients throughout their cancer journey. This will also position Prenetics solidly within the over US$80 billion global precision oncology market.
