Achievements in 2023/2024
To strengthen its commitment to ESG and sustainability, Gobi has introduced 10 key initiatives for 2023/24. These goals include improving investment and reporting processes, enhancing risk management, advancing the circular economy and DEI, implementing expert advisory oversight, and improving internal operational sustainability.
Key Metrics and Insights
Gobi adopted a data-first approach, initiating a pilot programme with 23 portfolio companies through a data measurements platform. This approach has provided a deeper understanding of each company’s ESG principles, enabling both Gobi and its founders to gain better analytical insights and offering investors greater visibility into the ESG journeys of their investments.
Goals for 2024/2025
Gobi identified gaps and aligned its operations with established ESG frameworks, underscoring its commitment to responsible investing. The focus was on setting clear ESG targets and laying a solid foundation for seamless integration in the future. Moving forward, Gobi anticipates a transformative journey to apply and implement these practices across all offices, ensuring strict adherence to local laws and policies.
